Chapter 4: The Party II

I'm enjoying the attention am getting.
This is the best birthday I have ever had.
It's like I'm alive and being to feel things again. I'm usually not that excited for anything; birthday parties in general.
Growing up I always get babied around and I don't like it. I want to feel grown, and these dress is definitely giving me the confidence I needed.
"What started as a chaotic mess has now become exciting, even the best? Wow, I'm loving this party.
"I just wish to see Liam"
"The look on his face to my glamorous fit"
"This is the best party ever!!!
Maybe because of my new phone.
Maybe because of Liam.
Maybe because I got to see Aunt Anna, Soya and Olivia.
I was confused of which one caused the excitement in me, the zeal to continue this moment.
"Was I supposed to be a servant? I sign in disbelief. I thought I was getting the princess treatment"
My mum made me serve the guests along side Chloe, Soya, Olivia and other teenage relatives I couldn't care less about.
Few minutes into serving and Chloe has disappeared. She always do these, disappear whenever there's work loaded. Sometimes I wonder if she deserves the title "elder sister" she's so lazy.
"Smile!!! It makes you more beautiful"
My dad comment, giving me a forehead kiss.
"Gosh you'll ruin my make up"
"I haven't accomplished my mission yet.
He smells like alcohol. Disgusting yak! I said making a vomiting face.
My mum will be pissed. She doesn't like when dad drinks and smells like alcohol.
I felt the need to ask Chloe where Liam was but I would appear desperate and she'll wonder the reason I'm asking and to be honest I don't have any.
She'll suspect I have a crush on her boyfriend and it's off limits.
"Compote Hannah!!! don't be desperate, your actions are off limits" I said to myself.
I barely knew Liam.
"By the way how old is he?
I wondered, I served the guests till I was tired and couldn't anymore. My dress doesn't let me walk properly, it's either I change it or I find Chloe to finish up while I rest.
I didn't want to change my dress because Liam hasn't seen it yet.
"Who knows if he stayed for the party"
Sad!!!!
I bet I'll go take a rest in my room. Most of the guests are past out drunk.
Most of my friends from school has gone home because it's past their curfew. Not everybody I invited turned up. Jason didn't come, I expected to see him but he had better places to be obsessing over people's life.
What matters is that Rose came and we had fun together, she couldn't stay longer but she definitely helped me out in serving the guests. She's the best.
"Hannah?"
"yes Aunt"
"Would you mind having Soya and Olivia in your bedroom tonight? I will stay with your mum in her bedroom, others can take the guests room"
"Of course, gladly"
she lets out small yawn signaling she's had a fun night and is super tired.
I left her presence to go upstairs.
