Fated Between The Dragon and Alpha

Preparation

Third POV

The day before the dragon's bride-giving ritual...

All the omegas in The Moon Stone Pack were busy doing a lot of work, as well as preparing for tomorrow's ritual. Meanwhile, the warriors were busy securing the area where the ritual would take place. Almost everyone inside The Moon Stone Pack was busy doing their own work. But not Serenity who was confined to her room.

Serenity looked out through the window of the room which was now lined with iron on the outside. This would never give Serenity a chance to escape again. Serenity sat on a chair, with her legs raised on the chair. With her hands resting on her knees now. Although there were no longer any chains around Serenity's wrists, the purplish-blue marks on her wrists could still be clearly seen. But Serenity did not care about that at all.

She was just busy looking out the window, and looking at all those people from The Moon Stone Pack working so busily. Serenity knew what they were all doing right now. And it made Serenity realize that the bride-giving ritual for the dragons in the pack was about to happen. And that was tomorrow. Which would be Serenity's last day in The Moon Stone Pack. Serenity didn't know how she would be able to stand up straight and calm in front of everyone when the bride-giving ritual for the dragon was performed. Serenity felt that she would not be able to remain silent, and looked at everyone.

"After all the things I said to Alexander and Vienna so confidently, to cover up my pain. I don't know if I can stay standing and calm, confidently in front of all of them. I want to face tomorrow's ritual very calmly. It's just that I don't know the right way to do that." Serenity turned her gaze away from the window, and looked right at her wrists that were covered in purplish-blue marks.

"I don't want to show the sadness and fear I feel tomorrow in front of this many people in The Moon Stone Pack. I don't want them to see my weakness. I want them to see that I am not as weak as they think."

Serenity rubbed her face roughly with both palms there. Before finally, Serenity lowered her legs from the chair, and stood up. Serenity walked towards the bed, and sat there slowly. She had no choice but to wait until tomorrow came. But, if Serenity just stayed, and waited in that room, she herself also felt unable to calm down at all. She felt very uneasy about everything. But she did not know who to talk to now. Considering that almost everyone in The Moon Stone Pack was forbidden to approach and speak to her, with Serenity's status now no longer an omega, but also a prisoner, and a traitor in the pack.

Serenity immediately stood up with a quick movement, while turning her body towards the door of the room. It was Mia and Lea who came into the room. Serenity's best friends when she was an omega. Mia and Lea quickly closed the door to the room, and walked over to Serenity, carrying several items in both hands. Serenity stood up with an awkward feeling.

"We brought food, and a few more changes of clothes for you, Seren." Mia muttered as she placed the items she had brought along with Lea onto the bed.

"Thank you..." Serenity muttered as it was. Moreover, she also did not know what she would say other than that. Serenity also did not know, whether Mia, and Lea, still believed in her, or also considered herself a pack traitor.

As for Mia and Lea, they both began to look at each other. Before finally, they both quickly approached Serenity, and hugged Serenity's body very tightly now. That really took Serenity by surprise. She had not expected that Mia and Lea would hug her now.

"Wh-what? Why?" Serenity could barely even speak straight, due to the shock she was feeling right now. Until not long after that, Mia, and Lea both started to release their embrace, and it was immediately apparent that they were holding back their tears. That made

Serenity even more confused, and unable to understand anything. "Why are you guys hugging me like that? What's wrong with you?" Serenity finally asked again after looking at Mia and Lea one by one, several times in turn in front of her now.

"We don't know what we can do to help you, Seren. Both of us are completely helpless. Even all the omegas in The Moon Stone Pack would love to be able to help you get out, and avoid the bride-giving ritual to the dragon tomorrow. Mia explained, wiping away tears from her eyes.

"Yes, Seren. All of us omegas have even tried to tell the warriors of our efforts to free you. But, the warriors did not listen to us at all. They even threatened, if any omega helped you, then our fate would be the same as yours. We will be used as dragon brides in the next ritual." Lea said, continuing Mia's previous words.

"You two don't need to do anything to help me. I've managed to escape before, and now I've been caught again. And that's not a problem. Serenity replied while grasping Mia's right hand, and Lea's right hand there.

"Serenity, are you crazy now?" Lea immediately let go of Serenity's hand, and instead grasped Serenity's shoulder very tightly. "This is the ritual of giving a bride to a dragon. It's a dragon, Seren. And you are a werewolf. How can you so willingly make yourself the dragon's bride?"

"I'm not the only one who will follow the ritual, Lea." Serenity released Lea's grip from her shoulders, and looked at the two of them with a calm look. "I heard that there are some folk from The Moon Stone Pack who will also be participating in the dragon bride ritual. I won't be alone tomorrow. I just need to follow the path prepared by Alexander and Vienna. I am not afraid."

"Seren, this is a dangerous ritual. Have you heard anything about the dragon bride ritual before?" Mia immediately asked.

"Seren, the bride-giving ritual for dragons is one that I will never participate in for many years of my life. My parents used to say that the dragon bride ritual is a blood ritual. The chosen dragon bride must give the dragon offspring, and live forever together as mates. Not to mention the rumors of dragon brides being burned alive after giving birth to their offspring. I don't know if they will live or if many of them will die. Didn't you think about that until now?" Mia explained.

"Then what if among the many choices of women in tomorrow's ritual, but you are chosen. What will happen to you then, Seren? Would you still go along with the dragon, become his mate, and bear offspring for him?"

Serenity let out her breath slowly. Actually, she herself also knew about all the things and rumors about the ritual of giving a bride to the dragon. It was just that, Serenity tried not to think too much about all those things, and still followed the flow of the game that had been prepared by Alexander and Vienna. Serenity turned around and walked towards the window of the room there. "I've made up my mind very firmly, Mia, Lea... that I will still follow the ritual of giving the dragon a bride tomorrow. No matter what the outcome of the ritual is tomorrow, I will still stand there calmly. Even if the dragon will still choose me as its bride, then I will still go together with her. I have already made up my mind for that."

"What do you mean by determination, Seren? Are you planning something?" Lea walked closer to Serenity, along with Mia. "What are you planning?"

Serenity immediately looked at the two friends. "I can't tell you two right now. But someday, I will definitely come back here, and tell you about everything. You two don't worry. The ritual of giving the bride to the dragon tomorrow, will still happen, and I will still follow it. Because that's all I can do right now. If I try to escape again now, then it will all be in vain. I don't want all the things I've thought of so well to go to waste. I will never let Alexander and Vienna think that they have won. I will make them both lose badly. I will ensure their defeat at my hands."

"Whatever you plan to do, we will always support you, Seren." After that, Mia, Lea, and Serenity hugged each other very tightly. Recalling that it was their last moment before tomorrow's ritual would be performed.
