"When are you going to let me go? It's been more than a week."
Adolfo didn't reply and he kept on looking at the book in his hand. I take the seat in front of him in the garden while the twins are playing in the pool not far from us while some of Adolfo's men are watching over them.
"I know this is hard for you, but believe me. It's for the better."
Adolfo still didn't reply and I know exactly what to say to make him give a reaction.
"Aren't you going to give justice to Adelina?"
He stopped reading and I can see his brows twitching while silently lowering his book. He looks at me and I show him my desperate look and I put my hand together as I'm begging him.
"Please, let me go get the things for you, besides... Ayla and Ayden starting to ask about Ryan. They missed him."
