"Can I help?"
Marie turns around and smiles as she sees me. She shakes her head as she resumes her cooking.
"It's almost done, Mia. Thank you for offering, besides you're not supposed to help me, you're our guest."
"No, I should help. I know how to cook too. I learn it with my mom a few years back and luckily I got to use it for the twins."
"Well then, thank you in advance"
I chuckle lightly as I stand next to Marie helping her preparing to serve the dinner. Marie just smiles a bit as she looks at me.
"He's right"
I turn to look at her as my eyes widen and I smile at Marie.
"Who?"
"Ryan. He said you're the sweetest woman he's ever met and you're also kind. He's right about that."
