I feel lost and my hands are trembling at the news I just heard. I look at mom's sad face for confirmation and when she nodded, my legs give out and I fall down to the floor. Finn runs to my side while Julian, A.K, and Ned stay silent at the back.
Mom squats down in front of me and she takes my hand while crying silently. I look up and my tears roll down my cheek silently.
"Wh... Why mom? Why...? I was getting closer... Why did dad give himself up??"
"He decided to end this once and for all, to get closure with Adolfo and also to save Mia."
"But... But why didn't you discuss it with me? Why? I... We can definitely find another way to get closure, mom."
