I stood in the chambers staring at the walls, they room felt empty. The queen always brought so much light with her into this place.
I walked to her closet looking at her robes I held on to one of them and smelt her fragrance, I missed her more.
“Your majesty, Lord Billy would like to have a word with you” I heard Connor’s voice came behind me.
“I will be there” I said putting back her robe on the hanger. I quickly walked to the throne hall, “I hope you have come back with good news” I said but looking at the frown on his face I knew he came back with no news
“Go on!”
“Am afraid it's not good news.”
“What is it?”
“Your majesty the scouts we sent to search for the Queen came back and they found her belongings and her body was burnt to ashes” he said breaking down in tears
