Chapter 14
Myra was resting on the basement floor when someone woke her up. Her dress was tainted with blood that wasn’t hers. She got up and rubbed her eyes to recognize the basement she was inside. It was the same basement she where she killed and pulled out the hearts of many other people.
When she woke up, she came face to face with the evil lord. She immediately scurried away from him but before she dragged herself any further, Lucian grabbed her leg and pulled her back.
“Running away from me, love?” He asked in a low, soft tone.
“What do you want from me now?” Myra asked. “I did whatever you wanted, I killed those people! Why don’t you leave me alone? What else do you want from me?” She continued questioning the evil lord. There was fear in her heart and Lucian could smell it
