  Epilogue Six months later Dimitri poked at the cheesecake with a small fork. He wasn’t hungry, wasn’t in the mood for something sweet, but he didn’t want to come to the diner and order nothing more than a cup of tea. It was twenty minutes past two in the morning, and the dark was thick outside the windows.
