15 I’d hoped the physical complexity of Lotus Pose would distract me from my racing thoughts. No luck. I’ve contorted my legs into a pretzel, and, still, every time I close my eyes and try to focus on my body, all I find is another memory. “Dude, there’s a zebra in the bathtub.” It’s February 28th—my birthday. And, because my friend Jed’s parents are out of town, he’s invited nearly a hundred people to their Main Line mansion in honor of my nineteen years on earth.
