62 The phone startles me awake. s**t. I forgot to turn my ringer off. I stumble out of bed and across the room, rummage around in my purse, and find the culprit of my annoyance. The last thing I need is for my sleep to be interrupted. I spent the earlier part of today driving my yoga teacher turned sponsee to a treatment facility. Then I cleaned my apartment, made myself a tuna fish sandwich, went to a meeting, did a few hours of teacher training homework, and lay in bed until nearly two a.m. ruminating about how scared I am that I’m going to f**k up this new, awesome life that I’m building for myself.
