Part Eighteen

I made two salads, some steaks and a cherry pie. I was pulling out the forks and the knifes, when master came into the kitchen. He glanced at the plates and the food.

-"There are four settings of plates and utensils, why?"

-"I,,mmm,, am not that hungry and I thought, that mmm maybe i can go to bed earlier today"

-"No.", with that he walked away. I sighed, my dream of escaping a social interaction, especially with the blonde guy, are officially crushed. I felt my anxiety rise up, so i tried to calm my. Master will be with me, nothing bad will happen, i dont have to talk with them, i could just eat, wait for them to finish and then hide in the kitchen.

Yes, great plan.

I started setting up the table and getting everything ready, when i heard them coming. I stiffed for a moment, before i felt master's presence near me.

-"Oh this looks delicious" Hunter said and Ad just hummed in agreement. Zic kept looking at me and that made me feel totally uncomfortable, so i hid behind master's back.

-"Take a seat, before everything gets cold" Azazel sat down on one of the chairs and pulled me next to him after grabbing the nearest chair and pulling it to his. The men sat down and continued their talk, i tried to understand or get the idea of the topic, but after a while i just gave up.

-"oh wow, you are an amazing cook"

-"yup" Ad said with mouth full of food

-"You lucky asshole" Zic said while pointing his fork at master. Azazel just smiled and put his hand on my knee possessively.

The rest of the meal was eaten in peace, the talk continued, either about some work or some new club, thankfully no one tried to get me involved. Master never stopped touching me the whole time, either on my knee, my shoulder or even playing with my hair, as if it helped him or relaxed him.

After all the plates were sparkling clean, nothing was left, the men moved to the couches, while i cleaned everything and got some tea and coffee ready for the pie. Put on some cream, sugar on a tray with coffee and tea, brought them over, then went back for the pie. 

The conversation was now about some problem that happened recently in one of the clubs Zic was partying at. I cut the pie and placed it on a plate for each of the men and served them to it. I poured the coffee, but since i didnt know and i didnt want to interrupt their talk, i just left the cups on the table. I made one for master just how he likes it and made myself some tea, went and sat down besides him. He gave me a smile before putting his hand around my waist. I blocked their conversation and enjoyed my tea, till i heard them changing the topic to me"

-"So when are you going to announce that you have found your mate?" Ad asked  

Master stared at me for a few seconds before answering, "I will hold a meeting in two weeks, then i will announce it"

-"A lot of families wont be happy about it"

-"well they can suck my d**k, for all i care"

-"You know what i mean, the prophecy"

-"Why would it come true? after all as long as nothing happens to her, why would it ?"

-"Thats not how they will see it"

-"and as i said, they can .."

-"Yes, yes, they can suck your d**k, but that doesnt change a thing"

-"Plus what about Lily ?" Zic asked

I froze. Lily. He has someone.

The atmosphere is the room changed. I heard master growl next to me. I tried to move away from him, but he just hugged me tighter.

-"No offence man, but you know what she thinks, that you are going to mate her and make her the queen" Zic continued talking like he didnt notice anything 

-"Shut up" Hunter said, but he didnt listen

-"Like you have been f*cking her for what? the last decade? am i right?"

-"Zic..." Hunter warned him

-"No man, seriously, everyone thinks that you are going to mate her and now you pull something like this, the f**k you think will happen? she will just accept it and bow to your mate? and what about her father?"

-"I.DONT.GIVE.A.FUCK" a whimper escaped me when Azazel scream

-"I NEVER said that i will f*****g mate her, i NEVER promised her that. If she made this all up in her head thats not my problem. And as i said i give zero flying f***s what everyone else will say about me having a human mate."

There was a thick silence in the room. I wanted to ask him more about this Lily character, but i knew that right now was not the right moment.

-"I think you should all leave"

-"Mhmm, yeah man see you late" Hunter and Ad walked towards the door, while Zic stayed and just looked at master 

-"You know that I have your back, right man?"

Silence.

Finally, Zic followed the rest of the men out.

I slowly got up and started cleaning everything, I felt my tears were on the verge of spilling. Of course, he would have someone, you are not even that beautiful. What were you thinking?

Over and over the same ideas kept going around in my brain. 

Once I was done cleaning, I went to the bedroom. I went straight to bed, hoping to fall asleep before he comes in. 

But no such luck.
