I was quietly sitting in my bedroom in front of the window, staring at the trees outside. Suddenly, tears rolled down my eyes.
Caspian was outside, guarding the door.
“Don't take stress. You're pregnant.” Mrs.Yamin rubbed my upper back.
“I didn't do anything.” My sobbing voice uttered the words.
She nodded her head, believing me.
“You have always been brave. You even tried to protect them from a distance. There's no way that you would leak the information.”
Hearing those words, my heart felt relieved.
“What if no one believes me?” Wrinkles appeared on my forehead.
“The truth doesn't hide for long.” She motivated my defeated soul.
“You need to take more care of yourself and your child, Iyana.” A smile glinted on her lips.
