I had to change the fingerprints by tonight, or Killian would find out the truth. Two Shadow Knights were standing outside the study room, guarding the door.
The others were in the garden, discussing stupid strategies.
“Why are you here?” Tasha inquired, noticing me wandering alone in the living room.
“Ehm…I wasn't feeling well.” My lips lied.
“Do you want me to call Lydia?” Her brows furrowed.
She was exceptionally noisy.
“Yes, please!” An idea entered my mind.
She nodded her head and hurriedly walked out of my sight. A few seconds later, Lydia stepped inside with Yuri.
I thought she would come alone!!!
“What happened?” Yuri grabbed my palm.
“My body is burning.” Another lie rolled down my tongue.
“Get some ice!” Lydia commanded her.
Yuri ran over to the kitchen.
