Mum. She opened the door and saw her mother, who was already sitting on the bed. She walked to her and sat by the bed. "Are you okay? Do you feel any pain?"
Louise smiled before holding her hands. "I'm fine, Ellie." She wanted to ask her a lot of questions, but she couldn't because of the place they were in and her health after what had happened.
"What are you doing? Where are you going?" Ellie asked as she saw her removing the sheets from her leg and about to stand up.
"Home." She replied.
"Home? How can you think of going home when you're not feeling well?!" she said, raising her voice.
"I'm fine, Ellie." She replied with a smile. Mum! Ellie called out. She argued with her mother until she finally agreed to let her go home. It took every ounce of courage in her not to burst into tea
