I stand beside the drift hub of Archer Omni. Ten astronaut-style chairs surround a column-shaped monitor. When you’re into the hub, your work in progress shows on the pillar itself. Atop that column sits a line of small round orbs— special projectors that create holograms within the lab itself.
At 2pm on the nose, I’ll turn those projectors on and see what kind of crew I’ll have for tonight’s Andromeda Anomaly. If I get less than thirty kids, then our chance to destroy the exile void is slim.
