CROIX
“She’s hot.” Eli said before taking a sip of his beer. “Like an innocent apple yet let me step on your neck while you c*m type of girl. I’m getting masculine vibes.”
“Who’s hot?” Lana asked from my lap, inhaling a blunt as I sat back deeper into the broken couch.
“Masculine? Like Matt?" Rocks, one of our friends spoke out coughing through the smoke. “Like she lifts more than Matt?”
“Not manly but Masculine.” Eli smirked still day dreaming about her.
“What he means is that she possesses masculine traits like persuasive, strategic, ambitious, intimidating and all the whatnot.” Josiah corrects Eli with an eyeroll.
Not a bad assessment though. He has always been the smartest of the group but unfortunately in his case his own came with anti-social tendencies. He lacks the ability to socialize outside his tight knit circle. Well versed in technology but zero emphasis on interpersonal connections.
“Okay I mean she has these ruthless killer instincts beneath those cute little dimples and that curly hair she flaunts. She’s my soulmate but I can’t prove that yet.”
If only they knew how ruthless she really is.
We are at Tony Digman’s place again for partying and drinking with college frats and some kids fresh out of college. His house is closer to their campus and they come to me for some tats on their body as well.
“Who’s hot?” Lana asks again, clearly only hearing that. “Who are you talking about?”
I peel the blunt from the back of her hair and take a drag allowing the weed to enter my lungs sending warmth throughout.
“His new step sister.” Sigh chimes in from the loveseat scrolling through his phone. “A bit nosy but horrible to look at.”
“A fuckable face for sure.” Eli adds dreamily. The girl next to him frowns.
“You have a new step sister?” Lana directs the question at me, the insecurity dripping from her voice. “When were you going to tell me?”
I ignored her question entirely. Lana repositions herself on me, her arms around my neck. “Maybe I have to reduce my screams to a minimum then? Why don’t you try that gag on me?”
Her tongue trails up my neck, kissing and licking along my dragging pulse but I don’t feel anything. I am disconnected and disassociated with everything right now and only when I see her, I feel some kind of spark.
But right now, the thought of Adelline alone in the house about to f**k her boyfriend sends me to a rage I need to keep in check.
My phone pings distracting both Lana and I. I take a long drag to calm myself, lift Lana up and place her on the couch next to Tony and pay for my blunt. “What the f**k, Croix?” She practically whines, her breast spilling out of her black corset.
I ignore her and head for the door, walking through the party goers, desperate for some fresh air. I don’t understand these emotions that are surfacing again. I thought that I’ll finally f**k her over and the release will make me lighter but contradictions.
Making my way to the porch, I lean against the railing basking in the gentle cool breeze and the silence. Not many people are up here so it’s perfect like this. My thoughts instantly drifts to her being f****d by someone else. Does she put up an act for him too? Does she talk about how much she adores him too? Do her screams make him hard?My right hand clenched and unclenched desperate to f**k someone’s face over but instead I take out my phone to see a new message from her. A pleasant surprise indeed.
I open it immediately, seeing an image of a slice of pepperoni pizza, shiny with spit, and an opened mouth with the sexiest tongue lapping it up.
She got this number and sent me this picture to get under my skin. A big f**k up back. She better watch her back though. She’s playing with fire. I smirk at the thought of having a new toy to f**k with.
I needed a moment so I called Josiah over since he’s the only one who didn’t touch a blunt or any drugs for that matter.. He hates the idea of losing so much control unlike Eli who is willing to try anything but won’t go beyond three in a day.
Josiah didn’t say a word. I don’t need him to. He knows better than to piss me off right now. I enter the passenger seat of the SUV and he starts the car and drives. Later on, we’ll come for our bikes.
“What’s your plan with the new sister?” Josiah surprised me by asking. He has never been interested in anything that doesn’t concern Eli and a girl he mumbles about in his sleep. I think her name is Jules. Oh, and his gigs.
“You’ll see.” I gave him a smirk. I intend to surprise her in ways that she’ll never expect.
“What if you end up liking her?” Josiah said in that annoying monotone voice of his. “Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about. I have seen the way you look at her.”
“It’s no denying how hot she is, Sigh.” I took another drag of my blunt. “I may f**k her but I will never cross that boundary. I hate her just about how much I want her.”
What she did years ago is totally unforgiviable.
And I won’t stop until she remembers every bit of how she made me feel that night.
