Lucian paced back and forth in his house . Two days had already passed by and he knew nothing about where Valerie was. He wanted to bury that little witch's body together with her little bastards. He hated her with every fiber in his soul. Were it not for her, he could be married to her step sister who had no problem doing everything to please him.
When his phone rang and indicated it was Lucia calling, he hoped it was good news only to have her ask him if her body had been recovered. For some reason there was an edge on her voice when he said no. She sounded a bit nervous. Why would Lucia be nervous? Maybe she was worried about Valerie's father.
Soon as she hang up, he dialled her daughter's number.
'Hey babe," She answered in what she thought was a sexy voice. For Lucian, he never cared about how she sounded. As long as she did everything he asked, then she was absolutely beautiful to him.
"Hey Sofie. How are you babe?"
He didn't waste time. He went directly to the point giving her instructions and directions. When he hang up, he was assured that she was going to deliver the packages to kids who bought from them. It was a good thing she looked innocent. Nobody would suspect her.

In Enzo's residence, Lucia was waiting for her niece impatiently. Her plan was working perfectly well apart from the fact that Valerie's body wasn't found yet. If Valerie or her husband ever unearthed her secret, she could be in trouble.
The doorbell jerked her back to reality and she shouted at the help to open it.
Victoria, her sister's daughter came in looking as dashing as ever. Even if she didn't raise her by own hand, she paid for everything and this girl owed her. It would have been complicated to convince her into the con but she was also greedy. She wanted to be married to a rich man and to sit pretty. Her aunt skipped details of who the girl the rich guy had impregnated. It didn't take much to convince her that it was taken care of.
Victoria looked at her aunt adoringly. She was giving her the life she deserved and luck was on her side. The guy was paralyzed meaning she didn't have to do anything for him or with him. She preferred girls to men. The one time she tried dating a man, she ended up pregnant and she hated herself. As she sat there listening to her aunt, she was grateful she had gotten pregnant at that particular time.
She'd laid out a great plan with her girlfriend. If she played he cards right, she'd convince Dante either to hire her girlfriend as a personal nurse or to let her bring a friend for companionship. If she managed to do this, she'd be elated. If only Maya wasn't so principled, she'd have convinced her to slowly take Dante out. She knew he stayed with his grandmother. How hard would it be to get rid of an old woman?

Enzo came home after a long day of trying to get in touch with Valerie. He needed her to sign off her mother's shares to him so he could own the whole company. The main reason he pretended to be civil with her grandparents is because he hadn't acquired the company fully as yet. Soon as he got it, he would cut them off together with her. He had a new life with Lucia and Sofie now.
He let himself into the house quietly. When Lucia and her nephew noticed him, they suddenly kept quiet. He didn't bother asking what they were talking about. He casually said hi to Victoria, pecked his wife's cheek and headed upstairs to freshen up. It was almost dinner time. After dinner he would talk to Lucian to send Valerie to him the following day. He'd allow him to treat her as he wanted soon as he was done with her.
