“Don't forget your bags,” Dave said, with a bemused smile, “do you want a hand carrying them to the door?” “Erm, no thanks,” Juliette bent to grab everything, before waving Dave goodbye. “Have a nice time,” he said, resting his arm against the open window, “text me when you're ready to come home.” “I won't be too late,” Juliette assured him, “thank you so much for the lift,” she watched as he gave Ben a curt nod, before slowly pulling away. “Hello,” Ben greeted warmly, as he padded towards her, barefooted, “did your friend want to come in for a drink?” “Oh no, he has to get back.
