I've been dreading this day for two weeks now, but there isn't a single more thing I could have
done that I haven't already to ensure my brother doesn't have prison on his permanent record.
I've had meetings with my lawyer longer than the classes I teach and any good judge would
believe that our alternative plea will be much more beneficial to Grant.
The side door to the courtroom opens and yet again, my brother is escorted in. This time, he's
much calmer and more prepared for the outcome.
