Chapter Twenty-Nine Milo It was time. I could no longer ignore the pain, nor could I stay and do nothing and allow the people I loved to continue out there alone and in danger. I had no idea what I faced, but I knew the one person I could go to for help—my grandfather. Regardless of what they had told me, he would never harm me, and he knew better than anyone about what I was facing. I wanted and needed to see him, and not just to prove to myself he was still alive. My sleep had become disrupted with dreams of what I would turn into.
