POV Ayesha
I wake up in Thanatos’ bed with him rubbing an ointment on my chest where I feel intense burning that comes and goes. Stella is furious and in pain. His scent fills my nostrils, and I feel like I’m in both pain and ecstasy at the same time. If only one would cancel the other out.
He starts to gently stroke my head, and Stella starts to warm up to him again slowly.
I look at him, and he smiles. “If I had given you a warning, Stella would have stopped me from putting it on.”
