POV Ayesha
I spend the day with my sisters working in the garden. Uncle Darwin shows up in a fancy tux looking handsome. Surprised I’m not dressed and ready.
“What’s going on? Why aren’t you ready?”
“I have a bad feeling about tonight. I’m just going to sit this one out and go to the next one with you, Uncle Darwin.”
“That is enough!” He yells, “I’m your future husband, and you’ll call me any sweet nicknames you want. Uncle will not be one of them. You belong to me now. Go get dressed and be ready in 30 minutes or I’ll put you over my knee!”
