“Breeder”
POV Ayesha
He smiles, his eyes twinkle, and it melts my soul. My heart flutters, and I smile back.
“Thanatos, what are you doing in the kitchen? How many times have I told you the servants are below us? Come, hang out with the real people. Like your visiting sister!”
I take a step closer to him. Thanatos frowns and then leaves.
I sit at the kitchen table, and everyone is happy to see me. We have a lovely chat until one of the servants tells me Thanatos’ sister Athena wants to meet the breeder.
Faith and I exchange looks, like good luck with her.
I walk out and stand near the dining room table. I see Thanatos smile again.
His sister has a scowl. “You picked that thing to be your breeder? Honestly, brother, I can find someone for you far more attractive.”
