Chapter 30
“Nightmares”
POV Ayesha.
I’m pacing the living room until late waiting for news about Mya. Beth keeps standing in my way to make me stop pacing, which is making me angry.
“Ayesha, we found Mya wondering the village. She was talking gibberish and seemed confused. We took her to the hospital to get checked over.” Logan explains, then grabs Beth and leaves.
Thanatos comes in and picks me up and takes me to bed. He plops me in the bed and sits beside me. “Tell me all your worries.”
“What do you mean?”
“Whatever you're worried about, let it all out.”
“I’m worried about Mya being in hospital. I’m worried about losing the baby and you tossing me in the incinerator. I worry about your brother hurting the baby. I worry you're going to stop caring about me.”
