“Stuck in my Head”
POV Ayesha
I wake up hardly able to walk after a busy night with Thanatos. I have a hot shower, which helps a little.
I throw on my pj’s. Then, head for the dining room for my morning coffee. I make it down the hall when I hear someone calling my name. I’m half asleep when I start to turn around at the top of the stairs when I feel someone push me.
I fall down the stairs, flailing my arms, trying to catch hold of something to stop my fall, hitting almost every stair. I smell and taste blood when I finally land at the bottom.
I hear a voice. “He’s all mine now, bitch.”
Then I feel Sol climbing on me, and he starts screaming as everything goes dark.
