Constantine suggests we check out the village south of here. We leave Sol with Thanatos, and us five girls drive to the village.
We stop at a cafe and have chocolate rolls and the best coffee I've had in a long time. The coffee tasted like Christmas, but the staff won’t tell me what they put in it. Mya saves a cup to give to Melanie, our cook, to smell. Mya gets two dozen sausage rolls and brings them to our booth.
We hear the humans from the next booth over chatting. “Can you believe that tiny girl bought 24 sausage rolls? Does she not know what a proper diet is?” The voice says.
