Erika’s last hope

That night fell before sunrise, Yet Erika didn’t close her eyes

Bags formed at the corner of her eyes, how would she even sleep, When her mind kept flashing back at the memories of last night and the threats ?

She looked at herself in the mirror, realising how worn out she looked in only one night

Erika stepped out of the elevator on the 10th floor

When the secretary saw her, she smiled
