Finally, she exhales sharply. "Fine, but I am coming with you."
"Sera…"
"That's non-negotiable." Her tone leaves no space for argument.
"If you're going to do something this stupid, someone needs to be there to pull you out in case it goes wrong. I'll keep my distance and stay hidden.
I should argue and insist she stay here where it's safe. But the truth is, having her there makes this slightly less reckless. Sera is one of the best fighters I have. If things go sideways, I'll need her.
"Alright," I agree. "We leave in an hour. We sneak in and out before anyone notices."
"This is a terrible idea," Sera mutters, but she's already moving toward the door.
“ Just don't do anything stupid before I return then we can leave together.” She instructs before disappearing through the door.
