Penelope POV
I meet Aaron's gaze without flinching
"We need to talk," I say without missing a beat.
Aaron gives me a long glance before shoving his hands into his pockets.
“ Talk? About what?” He asks.
"I want to talk about Graham and the upcoming lunar eclipse. Talk about ending his rule once and for all." I declare.
Aaron studies me for a long moment, then jerks his head toward his tent.
“ Come in." He orders, his glance lingering on Kieran a little bit longer.
I step inside, following him.
Kieran stands guard at the door, maybe too
Once we're alone, Aaron turns to me.
"Care to explain yourself? What did you mean by that?”
He asks. I don't know if he is just testing me or didn't understand what I meant. I can bet it's the first reason.
