Sophia POV I am propped up against my pillows, breathing slightly easier than I did this morning when Martha enters with a tray of soup I know I won't eat. "You're looking better," Martha says, but her expression tells me she doesn't believe her own words. "Liar. We both know that's a white lie." I say but smile to soften the accusation. “ You have always been a terrible liar, Martha.” I remind her. Martha has been my friend since I arrived at this pack. She is the closest person to me after my late husband. Martha sets the tray on my bedside table and takes the chair next to my bed. "She came to see you Sophia.
