Aloras's pov I don't believe it. He lied about the f*****g business trip and I'm such an i***t. Aly: what the actual f**k Justin! Tell me this is a f*****g prank before I lose my shit Aly: Justin Tanner Kennedy! Aly: I know you see my messages asshole, you're done He doesn't reply to any of my texts so I start calling him and he doesn't pick my calls. I try to hold back my tears but they start to flow uncontrollably. Who even acts like this? He proposed and all so why would he do this? I need answers now. I grab Hadley's purse and scan the room to see her grinding against blondie, she looks so into him. I guess it's blondes tonight after all. I just want to get out of here but I don't want to spoil Hadley's fun. I'll just leave because I'm sure she's going home with that guy anyway. I pull out of the parking lot and almost run someone over in the process and I apologize before I get on the road. All I can think of is Justin f*****g that girl. How could he do this? We're engaged for goodness sake! I thought I was special, that for the first time someone saw me. I don't want to believe that I am all the terrible things that my mother says I am but what if am I? What if I am worthless and ugly? I guess she was right that no man would ever love me. My phone starts to ring, as I try to grab it off the passenger seat it falls down and I lean to pick it up, Justin is calling me. I'm jolted back to reality by the honks from the car coming at me. I know we're about to have a head on collision if I don't do something so I swerve the car off the road and run right into a tree. I try to brace myself but I jolt out of my seat and come in contact with the airbag before I drift into nothingness. *** Seth's p.o.v The only thing left for me to do is hire a mind reader, that way I could know what the f**k Zaylee was thinking when she ran away yesterday. I have my men searching the entire city for her, I even have the police involved. Who the f**k disappeared a day before their wedding? She wasn't forced into this and until she ran away, she was excited to be married or was she faking it? I pace back and forth in my office as I try to remember anything specific she might have said to me, maybe it could give me a clue on where she might be. She left my house late at night, she'd just finished checking out her wedding dress and she was happy with it. According to her sister, she never came home. Has she been abducted? Who would want to hurt my wife? I have made a few enemies here and there but they wouldn't pull a silly move like this. The thought of her being hurt and alone somewhere aggravates my anger. If that is the case then today will be some people's last day on this earth. I call my chief of security, Reece, to know if they've found her. “Where is she?” “We have searched everywhere boss, we haven't found anything” “Is that all you can tell me?! After all your years of training, I still have to do your jobs! No one knows the whereabouts of my wife! She's not that f*****g hard to detect is she?!” “I promise we'll have her back in no time-” “And when will that be, do your f*****g job or you won't have one soon!” I yell when there's a knock on my door and Zaylee’s sister, Irene walks into my office. “You should calm down, Seth,” She says. “What are you doing in my house?” I ask. I could be nicer but right now I don't care. If I don't find Zaylee soon Beatrice will get worried and I don't need her getting worked up over nothing. “I brought you some juice” she walks up behind my desk and presents the drink. “I didn't ask you to come in and I know where my f*****g kitchen is if I was thirsty” I snap at her and she frowns, placing it on my table. “Get that out of my office before it spills on important documents” I warn and she picks it up. “What is the matter with you? Look, I'm just trying to be nice, okay? You're the one getting worked up over nothing” She says and that pushes me over the edge. “Over nothing?!” I yell and she flinches, taking a step back. “Do you not realize how important today is and on top of that your sister is missing and yet you act like she’s just in the other room!” She chuckles. “Oh my god, don't you get it yet? A bride doesn't show up on her wedding day. What does that tell you, Seth?” She asks. “You should use this time to think of where your sister might be instead of having foolish thoughts” I advise. She couldn't be insinuating that Zaylee ran away so she wouldn't marry me. Why would she do that? “She’s never there when anyone needs her, she's unreliable, why do you think she's never left in charge of the hotel?” She asks. I'm sick of this silly crush or whatever it is that Irene feels towards me. It has caused so much unnecessary misunderstandings. Beatrice wants me to marry Zaylee and honestly I would have chosen her myself with the way this woman behaves. “Enough, Irene! If she were left in charge of that hotel maybe it wouldn't be on the verge of bankruptcy” I remind her and she looks away. “Fine, you can be in denial as long as you want but just know that she's not coming back!” She screams and I grab her by her neck, pulling her to me. Her eyes grow wide with fear and the glass in her hand falls to pieces. “Seth-” “Look, I may seem nice and friendly but you don't want to test my patience!” I growl as my phone rings and I let go of her. “What?” I ask. “We found her, at Vance memorial hospital, they brought her in last night” Reece informs. Fuck. “How bad is she?” I ask. “It's nothing serious, they said she just had a concussion and is getting discharged” I sigh. I'd kill her myself if she was really hurt. “Good, bring her to me” I order, glaring at Irene who still has her hand around her neck. Her fearful expression is replaced with confusion. “Who's that?” She asks. “They've found her” I say and she stares back at me in shock. “Where?” She asks. “Why don't you ask her yourself? For now I'll need you out of my house” I say.
