The doctor’s with Mr. Frank now,” John replied as he led him into Frank’s sitting room. Instead of gaining solace from the familiar, reassuring room with its stuffed bookshelves and well-worn armchairs, Joshua’s attention was drawn to the closed bedroom door and the ominous silence beyond.
