Battle of the Factions Arc: The Girl with the Gift

I guess there might be a lot of casualties to be expect tomorrow. I have no idea how huge might they be but I am afraid that it will probably take the life of someone. Death has been very uneasy for me. I don’t have the slightest idea to why do I feel so uneasy about deaths even though I haven’t witness one yet. In my case, the worse I have seen are wounds that destroys a person’s limbs or nerves but I have never seen death right before my eyes. Death is inevitable, but our eyes are not required to see them always. Elio is currently in his short therapy session for energy gathering. It seems like he lost most of his energy from what had happened earlier and he needs to learn to focus and concentrate on manipulating his energy again. Diether and I are both waiting outside for Elio, hoping that his therapy session will end any moment now. “Do you know that girl?” Diether asked me. I looked at him and realized whom he was talking about. “Not really, but I have met her before.” I told him. He has this serious emotion in his face. “I feel no magic inside her.” he told me. I nodded at him. “I feel no magic in her too. It always makes me wonder what source of energy she has that she can do those kinds of things without magic or energy. Her spirit is really peculiar and I have never seen something like that before.” I told Diether. “There is a possibility that she is not from this world.” Diether told me. I looked at him again. “What do you mean?” I asked him. “You are aware that different dimensions exist right?” he told me. “Yes.” “She might be transported here from another dimension or world.” he explained “In other terms, she might be an exile.” I see Elio walking towards us from his room. “I don’t think that’s a good word to use Elio.” I told him. “Since you’re new it would be very disrespectful to use the word ‘exile’ on someone but it is the truth. She might possibly from another world that she came here because she is exiled from her world. There are many possible reasons to why could she be exiled from her own world and one of them is being a terrorist.” Diether told me. “Are you saying-“ “Yes, he explained well. From her looks she might possibly be a terrorist.” Elio told me. “And the reason why she is helping you is that she might have guessed that you can do something to help her go back into her own world again.” Diether said. “Aren’t you guys judging her way too much? We don’t know her real intentions yet and I think we should wait for her to tell us something.” I told them. “Al, that’s the point. We have no idea of her real intentions and we wouldn’t want it to get worse if her intentions are rather despicable.” Elio said. “How about this, after the tournament we will ask her.” I told them. “That is not necessary.” We heard a voice from somewhere near and it sounds very familiar to me. We saw a girl coming towards us with a hood on her head covering her face. She is the girl that we are all talking about, the girl who helped me twice. She keeps on walking step by step towards us until she had reached us. “What is your intention really?” Elio asked her. “I have no reason to tell you my real intention to why am I here but be not bothered to why I am helping him. I completely have no purpose of helping him but it is something that I do out of ransom. If I ever disturb you then I will gladly get out of your sight.” she told us. “Our intentions towards you are not what you think it is. We mean no harm nor fight with you. We are just curious to why could you possibly help me twice and what a coincidence it is that we have met again.” I told her. “Don’t mind my presence, god. What should you be worried is the outcome of tomorrow’s battle.” she told us. “What could you possibly know about the outcome?” Diether asked. “You are very well aware that I possess no magic but an alternative that lets me manipulate a peculiar kind of magic but that’s not for you to know. If you want to know how tomorrow will turn out then come with me.” she told us. The two were hesitating if they were to follow the girl but I lead the way. I immediately walked right after Percisca started walking. We have no idea to where might we go but she possesses a knowledge that we intend to know so it is better to follow her right now. After all, after the match I think we can defend ourselves enough from one girl that I still have no idea what she is. The two followed right after me with a very cautious look stuck in their faces. They have no options though; they know they had to follow me because they are curious too about what the girl knows. We ended up inside a tavern with no people but the bartender inside it. I suppose he is the owner of the tavern. We all sat down on a table near a nook in the tavern. There is a sufficient space for the four of us to fit. Once we all sat down, the girl took down her hood and yellow hair bounced off of it. The girl has pointy ears and so are the edges of her eyes. Her body is still wrapped with the robe that she has been wearing ever since I met her. Her body is quite slim, but her chest shows otherwise. I am not looking directly at her chest it’s just that it had caught my attention as it doesn’t seems like she is thin at all. “Are you looking at my chest?!” she told me. I suddenly got stunned by what she said. She must have seen that I was looking – no I just glanced at it. “Somebody’s a pervert.” I heard Diether said. “No it’s not like that I-“ I told them. “Anyways, going back to what I said earlier. I know exactly what is going to happen tomorrow.” she told us. “You can see the future?” I asked her. She shake her head. “I can only glance at the future. I have not seen everything about it completely but I have the ideas of what will happen tomorrow. Since I won’t be present in the battlefield, you must have already predicted that I won’t be joining your team tomorrow for the event.” she told us. “One of the things that will happen tomorrow is that you will be competing. Your category is crystal vanguard but your opponent shall be easy to deal with. I have no idea completely on who he is or where is he from but he uses shadow affinity.” she continued. “Is he the guy that Elio fought with?” I asked her. “I have no idea on who you are talking about. I appeared right after your teammate is already in the hospital so I have not the slightest idea on who he is. He may be easy to deal with but he is full of wits so you must still be careful about him.” she said. “How can we make sure exactly that you are telling us the truth?” Diether said. “I have no reason to lie to you.” she told us. She does have a point. “Fair point, continue.” Diether told her. “The very last part of the event will be-“ She did not finish what she was about to say. It looks like something had bothered her from her inside.
