Chapter 4- Betrayed

1538 Words
"Miss smith, report to the principal's office" I heard from the speaker. It was the first period of school that day. It was also the day after my plan on Emily. After my plan I went back home, in doing so I was able to skip some hours before I face our principal's nag again. So that is why that are calling me on my first period of the day. I stood up heading to the principal's office to hear whatever stupid punishment the school's management must have prepared for me. When I got to the front of the door I opened it without knocking, immediately meeting the eyes of the principal. If looks could kill I would have been dead by now. "Miss smith, do you know why you have been asked to come here today ?" The principal asked me. "Yes" I answered briefly. She just sighed and continued. "We received a report on you from a student. You have been reported for bullying and assaulting a fellow student" the principal said. "Soo?" I asked her. "You took a fellow student to a classroom in the old abandoned school building, beat her up and took away her clothes. Then you say so!" She asked, raising her voice at me. Then she continued "You have been given so much chances to change because you were once an outstanding student with very excellent grades" she said as if she was recalling a good memory. Then the tone of her voice changed from a warm and motherly tone to a harsh and angry one, as she said "Then your grades dropped, your behaviour changed for the worst and you bully you fellow students and rebel against teachers and school authorities" she said with venom clear in her voice. I stood there looking at her I just kept wondering if she looks in the mirror before leaving her house. Even if she doesn't look in the mirror what about her husband doesn't he see her every morning. Ha, her husband probably hates her. Then I noticed that the room was now silent, the principal stopped talking she probably noticed that I zoned out so she decided to keep quiet. She's probably waiting for me to come back to reality. She sighed then decided to continue I mean I'm back right. By back I mean I'm now paying half attention to what they are discussing. "You know what comes next right" she asked me. Receiving no response from me she decided to continue, clearing her throat "I believe my decision would be supported by both the teachers, students and even your friends. Miss Jade Smith, from today henceforth you are hereby EXPELLED from this school never to attend a lesson again. You may leave" she said deadpanning the meeting there. I stood up and walked towards the door. As I made my way out of the principal's office, something kept on repeating in my head. It was the part when the principal said 'and even your friends'. I mean how can my friends betray me by suggesting I get expelled. They could never support it when they know how much I hate the school and it's staffs. The part of being expelled was not the case at all because I saw it coming a long time ago, but what got my attention was the part that she said even my friends supports her decision of expelling me from the school. What did she mean by that, I have to find out immediately. 'Even your friends, your friends, friends, friends' this words kept on repeating itself like a broken video recorder as I walked back to my classroom. I opened the door meeting the eyes of the teacher and students in the class. Ignoring the fact that I was presently disturbing the class, I entered moving straight to my friends, who were at one corner of the classroom. I'm guessing that by now I've gained the attention of both the teacher and the students in the classroom. "Hi" I said trying to calm down. I decided, why not just cooperate and act like you know nothing. "Hi" Sophie replied. Exactly, Sophie never replies to anything I say when I return from the principal's office. Instead she says what did the principal say. "Miss, you are late for class" the teacher announced. Yeah, I ignored him taking a sit beside Will. "So what did that old woman say" he asked his arms crossed behind his head in a relaxing way. 'Hypocrite' I thought to myself. The anger I was trying to control was now getting the best of me. "What the f**k" I shouted filled with rage. Now I've got everyone's attention. My friends who wore confused expressions on there faces and the rest of the class who were obviously curiously watching the drama being played in front of them. "What crawled up your a*s and died" Jack said jokingly. He just doesn't know when to be serious does he. "Oh so now you don't know what you did, huh?" "You know that we are in class" Sophie said at the same time Will said "I just asked what the principal said to you" he said feigning innocence. "Don't give me that s**t, don't f*****g give me that!, You know what you did okay" I said raising my voice as I have had enough of their lies and backstabbing. "You know what just calm down okay" Sophie said. "You guys were the one who suggested to the principal that I get expelled. And come to think of I thought you were my friends" I said. Weird but the last words kinda.... hurts. "We are your friends" Sophie said. Coming closer, then stopped when she saw the look I was giving her. "f**k you, if this is what you call friendship" I said pointing out my middle finger in the air. "Miss smith, please respect yourself. Watch your language, this is a classroom not a market place" the teacher finally said. Ignoring the teacher, I continued what I was saying "I can't believe you guys, you f*****g sold me out!" I said glaring angrily at them. "And so what, what is there if we sell or had sold you out. You should ask yourself why we did it in the first place" Will said, catching me off guard. Then he continued "Over this two years, as days passed you became worst by every second. You claim to be grieving your late friend..." He said. 'Your friend' I thought to myself. "You became a problem not only in school but also in our individual lives" he continued. "Telling the school's management our opinion was not a bad decision, intact it will not only benefit everyone in this school but it will also give us free time away from you. At least peace would reign in this school. Uh and It will also benefit you too, you can go to where people like you belong. Maybe...." He said as if he was thinking. "The streets. Yah, that's where you belong" he concluded. I was lost for words, my mouth parted as I stood there looking at them. Not only was I being betrayed and backstabbed by my friends, I thought that they would at least deny it but here they are proudly saying it to my face. "So who likes soup" Jack said trying to lighten up the tension that I didn't even noticed had built up in the classroom. Wait, I was still in a school. Before I leave this school for good I must do some thing. I walked up to Will until the distance between us was little. Then I said "I know you are the one behind all this and I promise you would regret this" "Ha regret what. Haven't you heard the saying 'you reap what you sow' "Exactly" I said. Then I slapped him, hard in the face. Oh that felt gooood!! Without taking one last look at my friends, I spun around. Immediately exiting the room. As I walked down the hall, I heard Sophie call for my name then I walked faster down the hall to my locker to get my stuffs. 'So this is how it ends, this would be my last time seeing this hallway as a student' I thought in my mind. As I exited the gates of the school, I turned back taking one last glance at the school's building before heading back home. **** A/N: I'm sorry this chapter isn't that long, but it was still longer. I think I need an reward for writing this week, cuz I am presently having assessments in school. QUESTIONS: Which of her friends do you think is a real and really wants to help her ? Did you think the teacher that was teaching would have been able to control the drama that was happening in his class? (A/N: To me he wouldn't have been able to. That's why he didn't even try). Vote and comment love you. AISIELLA
