The night air revived Sabrina a little as they walked straight for the barracks. When they reached the sleeping quarters, half the beds were occupied. Two of the men were snoring. Holding the candle high, Flynn walked Sabrina to her bed. Her things were still exactly where she had left them. Yawning his goodnight to her, he continued on to the bed in the back corner of the room. Wishing she could sleep outside, Sabrina looked out of the window and waited for her eyes to adjust to the darkness. Sighing, she put her travel bag on the floor next to her bed. Even with all five windows open, it would be too warm to sleep. As she removed her boots and unlaced the sleeves of her doublet before lying down she tried to ignore the heat, the snoring, and the thoughts of all that had happened that day
