Adonis has been in Alpha Bolton's custody for two days now. He was still hoping that Morgan would come for him.
Adonis didn't want to think of the possibility that Alpha Morhan might actually come looking for her. That would be so terrible.
Though she had something going with Alpha Morgan, she still wasn't expecting him to save her. It was something entirely different. And if Bolton was right about his target being Mr Morgan, then if he was to come, it simply meant he would be putting himself in danger.
Damn it! In times like this, she just misses Wolfie. If Wolfie was to be around, then she was sure that she wouldn't last in Bolton's custody.
Right there and then, Adonis made up her mind to escape. It was better she saved herself rather than wait for a Knight in shining
