She thought going back to work would be much better than seeing the stranger, but it only got worse. Whenever her mind flashes to
him, her heart skipped. This wasn't something that always happened to her. She just couldn't stop thinking about the stranger and his beautiful eyes.
She wasn't supposed to be thinking about him. Just who is this guy to be messing with her head this way?
She was so totally lost in her own thoughts that she had no idea when the door to her office was being knocked on.
"Sargeant Adonis?" She immediately snapped out of her thoughts, only to see Sargent.....
"Hey, you are here."
"Yup, I've been knocking on your office door, but it seemed like you were lost in thoughts."
"I'm so sorry, I'm just stressed."
"It's okay. How's your mom?"
