TAMING THE BEAST

AN OBJECTIVE ENEMY

MORGAN

Morgan's life didn't get any better. An ancient and sad Lycan king was what he became. There was no need regretting his actions. The curse has lasted for centuries.

He couldn't believe he had actually lived in the world and watched the world's transformation without being involved in any because he was a beast who kills once its midnight.

In as much as he was a proud Lycan wolf, it still doesn't change the fact that he is a beast. His kingdoms have become extinct. Everyone around him has left him, apart from few loyal followers and his who stayed with him.

Morgan sometimes sneak into town, just to feed his eyes with what was happening in the new world, but then, he could watch from a high mountain where no one could climb.

He had businesses which was built with his wealth and riches. Occasionally, he goes to town and occasionally his company with the help of his beta.

Today is one of the days he would be going to the company. Though, the only way he could go out was when his beta took him there because the human world still do not accept the presence of a werewolf in his form. This was because they think a werewolf in his form would go feral at the slightest of opportunity.

They actually were not wrong because he could get really pissed, specially when some stubborn investors was setting out to make trouble during meetings. He would growl at them and they would immediately cower at his growls, but not the few human investors who would almost want to bolt out the door whenever he growled.

Most of these investors are werewolves, so they do not see anything wrong with him being at the meeting in his wolf form. But then, when they began to get curious about why he was always in his wolf form.

No one knows about his history because he had gone extinct, and so was his story. The only excuse his beta give as to why he wasn't in his human form was that, he was scarred and did not want others to see how ugly his human form was.

This excuse seemed understandable for the werewolves but not for the humans who still thought it was weird that a big black wolf should be attending a meeting with them.

Though compared to the ancient times, human, and werewolves lived in towns, since they made a pact which was never to be broke.

So far, there have never been anyone who went against the pact and there was peace now, compared to the ancient times.

Packs do not fight against packs anymore. There are still rogues though, but the rogues no longer stayed in the wild, but rather stayed in their community, working normally at offices, companies and wherever the humans and werewolves in packs work. The only difference is they live separately on their own, and still kept to the fact of not wanting to be bound by pack rules.

Morgan had nothing to prepare for in going to his company because he was a beast who will never get his human form.

Suddenly, the door to his room flew open, and his beta came in, putting on a blue suit and black tie. His dark hair neatly styled. He looked very handsome, and so professional now.

“Are you ready now, Your Majesty?”

Morgan walked towards him, while his beta opened the door wide for him, so he could get out. He walked slowly to the car, and waited for his beta to open the door.

The beta finally opened the door to the front seat, which he didn't waste much time to get into.

Getting to the company, his beta came down from the car, and headed to his seat and opened the door for him.

Though, It was somehow strange, specially for the humans, when they see his beta performing this action, but to the werewolves it was normal.

The modeling company was a pretty tall building that contained up to one thousand employees, all working in their various departments.

It was a given that a meeting was arranged at the beginning of every month, in other, to discuss activities needed to make the company grow far and wide.

“Nice to see you, Mr. Ezra Raymond.”

Ezra and Morgan both turned around to a beaming Conner on a black suit and a marching black shade.

Ezra and Morgan took quick glances at each other before bringing back their gazes to Alpha Conner.

“Nice to meet you too, Alpha Conner.”

Meanwhile, Conner's eyes lit up pretentiously upon seeing Morgan.

“Oh, Mr. Morgan, you are here too.”

Morgan scuffed, and almost rolled his eyes if he could. Conner just did not know how to pretend.

Back in the meeting hall, Ezra is always the one taking and explaining things, even though Morgan is the one making the decisions.

It was only until recently that Morgan began coming to the company, and this was because Ezra wanted him to feel more human than a beast. And fortunately, he's been feeling like human.

He really wished he can find a human to love him, but that was far-fetched. Seeing how scared the humans get whenever they saw him, made him believe that he would never see a human to love him at all.

While they were in the meeting hall, Ezra brought up an idea on how to make the company grow, but as usual, Alpha Conner objected. This was undoubtedly what pisses Morgan off.

"Beta, Ezra, don't you think we the partners of Morgan X also has a say on how we want the company to be managed? I'm mean, we are all investors in the company, and we deserve to request for what we want, not so?”

Conner asked, looking at every investor present in the meeting hall.

This is what he always does, he constantly attempts to generalize his opinion.

Morgan had been trying to pay him no mind, but from the look of things, Conner wasn't ready to stop.

The other investors did not say a word when he tried generalizing the question, but he just did not get it.

“C'mon everyone, say something, we all need to choose this time.”

“Alpha Conner, in remember you made the decision for last month which caused us a lot, don't tell me, you have suddenly forgotten?

Alpha Conner made a face which could be described as him being confused about what Ezra was saying”

“I agree, but I promise that_”

Morgan, immediately jumped on the desk, almost wanting to devour Alpha Conner which made everyone tensed up.
