He sat up, saw the glass of water and drank it in one gulp. He noticed his pants; the underwear was in them resting on the floor, ready for him to just put his feet in and pull. He smiled despite everything, imagining Ruby standing there staring at them shaking her head.
His shirt was at least draped on the back of a chair; he needed them to look somewhat presentable when he joined Jade for dinner. He gathered up his pants, grabbed the towel and headed for the shower. Freshening up would do him a lot of good.
