There were five emails to transcribe; they started with the earliest one which was dated over eighteen months ago. Whatever racket Pence and Birhan were into had clearly been going on for a while.
White matched each symbol from the email to its corresponding alphabet, one at a time.
‘M,’ he said. Jade typed it.

‘U.’
‘E.’
‘L.’
It was tedious and slow going at first, but he got quicker as he became more familiar with the symbols. An hour later they were done.
