Chapter 3: Strange Man

POV GABBY***

"Gabby I will give you 3 seconds to tell me what the f**k has happened to your face". I look at the elevator and hear it ding and try to run away from Luca but he's too quick as he throws me over his shoulder and starts to walk towards Ava's office. "Luca put me down, I have to do homework please". I think of cover up stories because if I told them max did this to me they would kick me out and I'd be homeless because my parents don't care anymore. I hear the door open as he slams it shut and walks close to Avas desk. 

    "Luca what the hell are you doing is that Gabby? why is she on your shoulder?" he puts me down and takes off my hood as Ava Gasp from her chair behind her desk as she gets up and runs towards me."Who did this Gabby?" I look away as I keep my mouth shut. She looks up at Luca as he looks down at me. I turn around to see a man sitting in front of Ava's desk and see my uncle Adam who looks pissed off. "Where the f**k is Dawn Ava?" Adam looks at Ava Angry. She looks at Adam "She's in London Tyler got a job opportunity to run my expansion 5 star hotel there and he took it and Gabby lives with me because she wanted to finish school with Max". 

    "Luca call Max ''. Ava says as she goes to her fridge behind her desk and grabs a ice pack for my face. She hands it to me as I shake my head. "No Ava I am fine I just need to sleep goodnight and please don't tell Max about this". Before she could say anything I walked out of her office and made my way towards the elevator. After a long elevator ride I open the Penthouse with my keys and walk towards my room and put my bag on the ground and close my door. I make my way towards Ava's office. Once in her office I go to the book self and pull on "Lord Of The Flies'' and the book self opens to a staircase. 

    After walking up the star case I make my way to our private pool and walk towards the bar. After I walk behind the bar I sit on the air mattress. After sitting down in my hiding spot I grab the bottle of Whiskey from the shelves and open it and begin to drink my worries away. I've never gotten drunk before but hey there's a first time for everything. 

    I know what you may be wondering why is there an air mattress behind the bar well it's because when Ava And Luca leave the resort for business Max invites all of his friends over and they party and last time they were here Max and Angel came into my room when I was sleeping and poured water all over me. My door was locked but Max took Ava's skeleton key to the penthouse. So now I just stay up here because no one comes up here because it's been forgotten. 

  POV AVA***

"Luca who the hell would hit Gabby like that. and she also looks way too skinny when was the last time she ate?" I walked around my desk as I sat down and looked at my desk and saw a photo of Luca, Max and I at the beach playing. 

Max, Max knows I mean they are practically together all the time. I grab my phone from my drawer and dial his  number. 

    "Hello?" Max says like he just woke up. "Max where the hell are you?" I look at Luca and mouth. 

"Go find Gabby and get take out from Gatsby's" he nods and grabs Adam to go with him. "Ummmmm I am at Baseball practice right now" I look at the clock and see it's 6 baseball practice is over at 5:30 and its football season right now. "Max that was the worst lie you have ever come up with if you don't get your ass home right now I will take away your car and you and Gabby will be dropped off and picked up at school everyday by Dylan". 

    "Ok I am coming". 

    "Max we need to talk when you get home I am worried about Gabby she came home with bruises on her face and she looks way too skinny when was the last time you saw her eat?" I ask and I hear nothing you could hear a pin drop from how quiet he had gotten.

    "Baby hang up the phone and come back to bed" I hear from my phone and Max hangs up. He's definitely losing his car privileges. I did not raise a man slut. Maybe Logan did but I did not. 

POV GABBY***

    After drinking half of the bottle I feel a little bit lighter so hey maybe now Max will want to f**k me. I Stand up with the bottle in my hand and take another swing at the bottle. It burned at first when I first started drinking but the pain went away after 25% of the bottle was gone. I walk to the edge of the rooftop and sit down and look at the ocean. 

    You can only see miles and miles and miles of water. I wonder what it would be like to go swimming at night  in the ocean. Why not try it. I get up and the bottle drops from my hand and shatters on the floor. 

    Eh whatever I'll get it later. I begin to stumble to the door and walk out and begin the ascend down the stairs. I missed the first step and fell down the stairs right into the back of the book shelf. 

    Ouch I get up and grab the knob and open the door. I walk towards the door of the office and open it and walk into the penthouse and hear its quiet. I walked out and went to the front door and went towards the elevator. After the elevator came up I walked inside and pressed the beach floor. After I heard the ding I saw the door to the outside and opened it and began walking towards the water. I looked around and saw the beach was deserted. I don't know why the ocean is beautiful at night. 

    I begin to take off my shoes and put them next to me in the sand. After taking off my shoes I got up and walked towards the water. When the water was at my knees I felt someone grab my and pull me towards the shore. 

    "What the f**k are you doing?" I look up and see it's the strange man from the lobby. He grabs me and walks me closer towards the sand and sits me down and sits next to me. "Are you drunk, you stink like alcohol and why would you go swimming at night?" I look up at him and see his beautiful dark green eyes. His hair is light brown and cut quiff. His skin is olive color and he looks like he would be a model on "World's Sexiest Man".  

    "Hello?" I hear as I shake my head and focus on his face. "Sorry yes and I thought it would be fun who knows?" I try to get up but I fall on his lap. I try to get up but I can't as I feel something hard poking my butt as I finally got up I looked down at him. "Hey your pencil in your pocket was poking me". I say as he stands up and dust off his butt. "Where do you live I will take you home." I nod at the resort. He looks over his shoulder and sighs. 

    "Ok let's go".

    He pulls my arm and we begin walking towards the resort at the door. He opens it with his key card and walks us towards the elevator. I guess I wasn't walking fast enough because he had decided to pick me up bridal style. "Weeee this is fun you should try it" I say as I look backwards at the wall. 

    Once at the lobby he walks towards the front desk and I see Jeffrey the night time desk guy or whatever they are called. "Hey Jeff" I say as I lift my foot towards him he looks at me and looks at the stranger who I still don't know his name. "Hey sexy what's your name?" I say as I grab his shirt. He looks down and smirks at me. 

    "You think I am sexy and Angelo" I shrug and lean back down and lift my leg up in the air. "Where does she live in the resort I need to take her home? She's drunk" he laughs and says "Penthouse 234 top floor" he smiles and laughs. "Hey thank you man". he says as he walks towards the elevator. 

    "Looks like your right next to my penthouse". he says as he pressed the button to my floor. I look up at him"You should f**k me youre hot and we would make cute babies" his eyes widen and he looks down at me and smirks. "Oh trust me princessa if you were sober I would definitely have you in a complete different position than you're in right now". he says as I feel like panties dampen. 

    My cheeks redden as I hear the elevator ding. He begins to walk towards my penthouse as I stop him. "Wait Ava And Luca are going to get pissed please don't take me back right now" he sighs. "Sorry Gabby no can do it. They are probably worried about you right now and they don't deserve to be stressed over where you are at". 

    I sigh and nod as he puts me down to knock on the door. I make a break for it and run towards the stairs. As I get to the door I hear my name being called "Gabriella Erin Fitzgerald get your ass back here right now" I hear Ava yell as I freeze and turn around and see Ava still in her work clothes and behind her Luca who is wearing his white dress shirt with the button opened. 

    I walk towards them as Ava grabs me and hugs me " I was so worried about you Gabby where the hell were you and why do you smell like alcohol?" I look at Luca talking with Angelo like they've known each other for years. I shrug "I was at the beach was going to go swimming before sexy over here stopped me" Ava starts bursting in laughter as Luca glares at Angelo. 

    "Come on gabby you are clearly drunk and need to eat somethi-" I cut her off. "I am not hungry, can you just get me some Advil and water?" I ask as Ava's eyes soften. "Sweetheart you need to eat. You weren't at dinner last night and I don't know when you had eaten". I shrug "I had Gatsby's earlier, no need to worry" I say as I stumble through the door and dive on the couch. I started drifting off to sleep when I heard Max asking Ava what's wrong. Ha he wants to care now what a jackass.
