41 Braydac rushed to a corner cupboard that had a door with broken hinges and pulled it aside. He grabbed two backpacks and shoved the door back in place. He held one of the bags out to me. I grimaced. He pulled a stunner out of his pack and handed it to me. As soon as I took it, he pulled out another one for himself. Braydac looked down at my hand and gently pushed it down and away from him. I frowned before realising I’d been pointing the stunner right at him. He smiled.
