Chapter Twenty-Three
Chapter twenty-two Before I well realize, a couple of hours have past. Carl and me had a lot of catching up to do. I explain him how Jonathan and Mike found me, I tell him about Lilly. What it’s like to have an Other. Apparently Keira missed me a lot, but town did not change a lot. There has not been much news, other than Shane’s short return which stirred everything up a bit. I’m incredibly grateful to hear about my mother. According to Carl, he visits her weekly to help her out with the heavy lifting and to make sure she’s in good health.
