Poppy The phone call from Zach last night was unexpected, and our plans for later were threatening to take over everything else. But right now, I needed to focus. I clicked off the radio in my car, and focused on the road instead. I took a deep breath in and let it out, slowly going over what I wanted to say. I’d rehearsed countless times this morning, but I still felt unprepared.
