The atmosphere in the hospital building they were in was quiet. The night wind rustled through the cracks of the broken windows, creating a faint sound like a whisper. Lucas, who shared a room with Rafael, lay on a discarded gurney with a troubled look on his face. He glanced at Rafael who was already asleep, then sighed softly. “I'm just thinking too much,” Lucas muttered to himself. He felt the need to pee and decided to go to the bathroom down the hall. Lucas exited the room with slow steps so as not to wake Rafael. He walked down the dark hallway with the moonlight coming in through the cracked window being the only illumination. The sound of his footsteps echoed, making him feel even more uncomfortable. Arriving at the bathroom, Lucas pushed open the rusted door with little effort.
