They walked slowly towards the notice board attached to the white wall of the hallway. The blue light from the fluorescent lamp on the floor reflected on the surface of the board. There, right in the center of the board, was a small note written by hand. The writing was sloppy, as if written in a hurry.
“Your time is almost up!”
Maria stared at the words with a furrowed brow. “What does this mean?”
