A FlASHED MEMORY

I kept praying, that it never comes back be cause I hated to be reminded of the past.

The most painful truth was deep within Helena's mind, even if she had no clues of it, she wasn't aware of it. It was a feeling Helena never accepted, Because it always felt like there was no affection for Lisa even though deep there was a little flame of affection, Lisa and Helena never really had the perfect relationship. ," Lisa" the voices were deeper than the ocean. it was louder than a speaker that name kept ringing a bell in Helena's ear , she held her head with her hands and her eyes were closed tightly after some time the voice seized and the cry of a baby was heard. Helena was confused and subsequently she began to feel unconsciously weak she was saying slowly her voice was about to cut short, " no no not again...." Helena said and then immediately fell to the ground weakly her body sank back then she miserably fell on the floor.

There it crossed the boundaries again and again the voices won't let Helena be, it wouldn't let her have peace of mind, she was gently losing her sanity. Her conscience kept tormenting her . It was called a past and also it was a call from her past , Helena always refered Lisa as her past but again and again after all trials to no avail, the memories of Lisa kept reflecting in her present life and that was a million and thousand reasons why Helena was never happy her whole life. with Lisa. Isaac appeared from no where, he then saw his wife laying. miserably on the floor unconsciously he flunked his brief case after setting his eyes on his wife he ran towards her and fell affectionately on her. he was worried for a while shaking and tapping Helena. For a moment he thought he thought he had lost his wife, he wasn't even thinking straight, he got really confused on figuring what to do " Helena Helena Helena sweet heart" Isaac was shouting aloud and shaking Helena's body but didn't get a response, Isaac immediately went to his room to get his car keys , first of all he got a hold of himself , carried her to the car and bl drove her to the hospital and she got a test and according to the test the doctor said it was just a minor faint due to streets. The doctor told Isaac to have a seat in his office before they both discuss further about the condition Helena was in, Isaac had a seat " what do you think the stress is about?" the doctor asked " I can't really figure all of that but I don't know.." alright the doctor said " I suggest she gets enough rest and the best time she ever get don't let her engage in any house chores and make sure she takes her medication and she shouldn't miss any one of it so that doesn't happen again " " sure doctor I will do just that I mean I want my wife to get better I don't want to loose her" the doctor then smiled admiringly at him " I totally understand just do as I say and everything will be fine "

CHAPTER THREE

AN ARGUMENT

Helena had just got back home. it was like a week or two , like her been home after she got discharged from the hospital.

well, this wasn't the first time that Helena and Isaac got into an argument. It was like a routine schedule for those two but on a normal basic they never argued like they did today. Even if they will, they will cheer up immediately it wouldn't last long anger but this was entirely different. It was so scary that, everyone in the house was shocked, like very surprised , yet Helena and Isaac kept yelling louder with shaped voices as if they were going to bring down the house. Helena believed that they could be lots of up and downs in her life that she could come in terms with accepting but not when it comes to her own daughter, Detesting Lisa was like a talent Helena was blessed with.

In the evening after Isaac and his family had dinner, and all went back to they room. Isaac and Helena were in the room gisting and laughing after some time silent broke the moment and Isaac wore on a serious look on" what is it? mood swings right??" Helena asked and her face was beaming with smiles " no no I really want us to talk" Isaac said " ok" Helena recommended slowly nodding her head * so I know it's what we have been talking about but this time I want it clear and done with " Isaac said looking straight into Helena's eyes adjusting his position on the bed * wait" Helena paused blinking his eyeballs and her mouth shaking as if she wanted to say something * don't tell me is about that dismal, that disaster, that mistake, that devil, that smile killer, called Lisa?" Helena continued raining insults on her * enough Helena it's your daughter we are talking about here" Isaac raised his voice * I don't know why it is so hard for you to value the important things that matter" Isaac said and was trying to walk away, but Helena held him back* really? no rather than me it is you who is to blamed, you are at fault you..." * Helena I have tried here I never left you even for a moment, even when you were facing all the trauma. and till the date you still live in that trauma. Rolling up and down like some kind of mad dog I was still beside you, what do you want in your life. common Helena..... after so many years don't you think it's high time you make things up with your daughter. Isaac kept yelling and his voice echoed in every in every corner of the building * yes go ahead , keep supporting her, after all that's what you are good at, she is the only one that matters to you. insult me go ahead no problem" Helena shouted tears began to flow down her eye * it's not about the support Helena, come to think of it , what will people say if they get to find out the type of mother you have been" Isaac asked* oh God knows that I have tried my very possible best as a mother but it didn't just didn't work out " * I ask again what Will you tell them? how would you face them?" * oh how I wish the world will know, well I don't care * common we should go pass this " Isaac screamed

* ok damn it what do people say when the price of gas or food stuff increases in the market ?" * or common this is not about gases or market for God sake it's about our child "

* well what I am trying to say is that just one day people will come in terms with accepting my decisions.

" how on earth did I get married to fhis jezebel? how" Isaac screamed" oh am I? go ahead call me anything just anything you want to for all I know is that I am so done having this" Helena said shouting " Helena can't believe it's you, I mean we used to be loving parents, what changed ?" " please... don't pretend you don't know it , cause you know very well that that God forsaken child Lisa change d me and even our lives I mean look at us we used to be better before now lets just send her away and I promise I will get better I promise you " " impossible common u don't really expect me to do that I mean you are the God forsaken woman, God did not forsake Lisa but you did " " I knew all all along that this wasn't a good idea, but the thing is that I had so much faith that this whole thing would work I hate you Isaac ". " you want us getting rid of your daughter just like that? /" well I didn't say I want her dead to all of you that she matters to" I just want her out of my little world that all I am not asking for too much am I? " Isaac you are not saying anything I mean you know how hard life was for me I literally lost my mind, infact I lost alot already and not ready to loose more please after giving birth to Lisa I lost my happiness, my joy, my smiles, I also lost my everyday I am just here chasing shadows, I became a shadow of my very own self Gosh unbelievable " Helena grinned " of course I want you to know that your happiness really matters to me it's my greatest priority something I pray for everyday.
