"Tell me all about your grand plans, Mr. Mafia Boss," I teased, pleased when an amused smile found its way to his face.
"Well, I've been thinking about stepping away from Russo Limited. I'd like to promote Nico, he's a hard worker and he knows what he's doing. They don't need me anymore. I'd really like to focus on some of my other businesses," Alessandro explained.
I racked my brain. I knew of at least one restaurant that he owned, but other than that, I couldn't think of what other sorts of businesses he owned. I felt bad that I didn't know what else he was into. I guessed it made sense that he would have more than just a couple of businesses, but I never had really looked into those.
"What kinds of other businesses do you own?" I asked tentatively.
"Well, it's not much." He shrugged
