Alessandro's phone rang from his pocket. "f**k," he cursed. He lifted me back up, leading me into the living room and indicating for me to sit on the couch. I plopped down, still trying to catch my breath a little as he answered the phone. "Please tell me this is important," Alessandro said through gritted teeth.
