Renewed cursing from the hole in the side of the mountain made her look up. Calapine shifted the object quickly behind her back as her sister emerged from the hole carrying a pile of stones in her paws. She looked around, saw Calapine standing behind the forge and walked over to her, grumbling as she made her way. Felapine dropped her load unceremoniously on the ground in front of the forge. “Pitchblende is all I can find in that hole!” she screeched. “There is no more iron!” Calapine kept the object behind her back, hidden from her sister.
